"International is a treasure that we nurture every day..."

International openness is both a mission of the University, as defined by the Education Code, and a core value upon which highly productive—not to say essential—cooperation dynamics are built, supporting our teaching and research missions. I am convinced that international student mobility is a factor in personal growth and success. Welcoming them in the best possible conditions, to enhance their student experience, is therefore a major priority for our institution. Whether in teaching or research, our projects very often have an international dimension. This orientation is so natural that we sometimes forget to highlight it as it deserves. Therefore, we are working to make this undeniable asset of our institution more visible.

Emmanuelle Garnier, President of UT2J

UT2J has been awarded the "Bienvenue en France" label.

This label, designed to ensure the international visibility of French institutions and their educational programs, is a mark of trust and attests to the quality and continuous improvement of services offered to international students. For each labeled institution, it represents a promotional and outreach tool and is awarded based on an evaluation across the following six key areas of quality and accessibility:

  • Information
  • Reception services
  • Educational programs and support
  • Campus life and accommodation
  • Post-graduation support Commitment to sustainable development and corporate social responsibility (CSR).

Currently, 156 French higher education institutions (both private and public) are recognized for their ability to welcome international students, with three levels of recognition available. Although UT2J was applying for the label for the first time, it was placed directly at the 2nd level of reception (out of 3), guaranteeing a good level of commitment to welcoming international students.
