  4. Combining spatial dependence occupancy models and conservation gap analyses to promote species conservation: A case study with a threatened semi-aquatic mammal

Articles masqués model with Markovian spatial dependence is well-suited to network-constrained environments. We applied applied this model to a semi-aquatic mammal Galemys pyrenaicus across the river network of the French Pyrenees overall high faeces detection. We then assessed the efficiency of the PA network to protect suitable streams and permutation tests we found that about 25 of stream sections protected by PA are highly suitable for of the most suitable sections benefit from a moderate to strong level of protection. Some highly suitable conservation gap analyses to promote species conservation: A case study with a threatened semi-aquatic

  10. Are the remnants of old-growth mountain forests always relevant to inspire close-to-nature forest management and efficient biodiversity conservation?

Articles masqués where both ancient i.e. with a high degree of continuity and mature i.e. with old-growth attributes forests and the socio-economic context to compare AMFs with both forests that are ancient but not mature and recent patterns require complementary investigations at a regional scale to better understand the influence of past-human current AMF network for biodiversity conservation. We used a set of 10 344 1 ha-plots described by 10 metrics Primary and old-growth forests have been identified as a high priority for biodiversity conservation and for Vanessa Py-saragaglia ont été associés à cette étude qui vise à (1) identifier les facteurs qui expliquent anciennes et matures, à (2) évaluer leur potentiel en tant qu’écosystèmes de référence et à (3) discuter de Ce travail a été piloté par Laurent Larrieu (Dynafor, CRNF-CRPF) et Antoine Brin (INPT Purpan, Dynafor) groupe d’étude des vieilles forêts pyrénéennes auquel a participé Nicolas Gouix.
