  1. Are the remnants of old-growth mountain forests always relevant to inspire close-to-nature forest management and efficient biodiversity conservation?

Pyrenees where both ancient i.e. with a high degree of continuity and mature i.e. with old-growth attributes current location of AMFs ii assess the potential of these AMFs as reference ecosystems and iii discuss the the relevance of the current AMF network for biodiversity conservation. We used a set of 10 344 1 ha-plots rather weak with the exceptions of the occurrence of late frost exposition and ownership type. Our study provides geological features and plant communities in the analysis of ecological representativeness of networks dedicated Vanessa Py-saragaglia ont été associés à cette étude qui vise à (1) identifier les facteurs qui expliquent anciennes et matures, à (2) évaluer leur potentiel en tant qu’écosystèmes de référence et à (3) discuter de Ce travail a été piloté par Laurent Larrieu (Dynafor, CRNF-CRPF) et Antoine Brin (INPT Purpan, Dynafor) groupe d’étude des vieilles forêts pyrénéennes auquel a participé Nicolas Gouix. sense of presence and that the sense of presence would in turn impact information retention. A quasi-experimental between the sense of presence and information retention suggesting that a stronger sense of presence leads motivation and memorization performance. The concept of 'presence ' defined as the psychological state of experiencing level of immersion significantly impacted the sense of presence with virtual reality leading to a higher sense of presence than the tablet. These findings contribute to the understanding of the use of immersive The impact of immersion and presence on information retention in virtual reality training: findings from

  5. Communicating Agent-based Models to Stakeholders: A Scoping Review - Journal of Artificial Societies & Social

reuse of ABMs with the aim of fostering broader adoption and more effective application of these models involves the methods and tools used to convey a model s structure function and results to facilitate methods of conveying ABM complexity and emergent properties. It also emphasizes the importance of systematic support the use of existing ABMs 2 insufficient emphasis on explaining the emergence in ABMs and 3 the absence absence of standardized methods to evaluate the effectiveness of communication strategies. By mapping current difficulties in explaining emergent behaviors, and the need for standardized evaluation methods. relevance of the current AMF network for the conservation of forest-dwelling taxa. We used a set of 10 344 too little surface area and is not sufficiently representative of the range of abiotic conditions that Primary and old-growth forests have been identified as high priority for biodiversity conservation and their biodiversity-friendly forestry. However can the remnants of primeval and old-growth forests in any case provide these considering a large French region where almost all old-growth forest patches have been identified and accurately remnants of both ancient and mature forest relevant to inspire close-to-nature forest management and efficient
