  5. Combining spatial dependence occupancy models and conservation gap analyses to promote species conservation: A case study with a threatened semi-aquatic mammal

pyrenaicus and less than 5.5 of the most suitable sections benefit from a moderate to strong level of protection applied this model to a semi-aquatic mammal Galemys pyrenaicus across the river network of the French Pyrenees mainly influenced by climatic and hydrographic factors. Rainfall forest cover and flow variability influence gap analyses with two types of model outputs i.e. occupancy probabilities and binary predictions . Using Using complementary indices and permutation tests we found that about 25 of stream sections protected by occupancy models and conservation gap analyses to promote species conservation: A case study with a threatened

  6. Influence of behavioural contingency on developmental song learning in young zebra finches (Taeniopygia guttata) tutored by a robot bird

importance of behavioural contingency in social robotics and offer novel insights into the use of robotic adults. In a previous study we demonstrated that a robotic bird can be as effective as a live tutor in in training a young zebra finch Taeniopygia guttata to imitate a song model. Here we take this further investigating the role of behavioural contingency in developmental song learning and in shaping the birds engagement with the robot. Two groups of young male finches were exposed to a robotic tutor under contingent A. Araguas, D. Valencia, A. Chopin, A. Thomas, P. Gauthier, F. Richer, B. Guellaï (CLLE), S.
