    Abstract The Late Mesolithic in Southern Europe is dated to the 7th and the first part of the 6th millennia BCE societies. The significance of this phase also relates to the fact that it precedes the Early Neolithic another poorly known age in this area. A burial discovered at Mondeval de Sora Northern Italy in 1987 represents represents a unique window into this period.   5. First cross dating (U/Th-14C) of calcite covering rock paintings in Africa

    this paper we present the first chronology for the red geometric paintings of the Lovo Massif. We used uranium-series series of geometric paintings at the M'Bubulu rock art site in order to propose a minimum age for these validating the ages obtained.   6. Drivers of Vegetation Structure Differ Between Proposed Natural Reference Conditions for Temperate Europe

    Plants. Methods We use large datasets of pollen-based vegetation reconstructions REVEALS to compare open between the two periods. We use Random Forest modelling and downscaled climate data to assess whether climate-vegetation provide crucial context for restoration actions. Here we compare vegetation structure and its driving processes early mid Holocene with mean values of 49 compared to 57 in paired cells. The combined open vegetation and Mesolithic people as the primary candidates. Our findings support that early mid Holocene ecosystems
