La structure collaborative s'intéresse aux mêmes objets que le GIS EAF de ses diasporas et poursuit les mêmes objectifs à l échelle de l institution de tutelle visibiliser permanent.e.s et doctorant.e.s de 9 unités de recherche à l UT2J et de 3 universités de l UFTMiP. Elle organise manifestations annuelles de plus grande ampleur. Elle a également mis en place plusieurs partenariats avec Accueil Structure collaborative de recherche en Etudes Africaines
