  2. More than agriculture: Analysing time-cumulative human impact on European land-cover of second half of the Holocene

natural state and contributes valuable insights to the onset of agriculture as the start of the Anthropocene forcings only and therefore the computed vegetation distribution is interpreted as the potential natural alterations on the land-cover. This challenges the hypothesis that vegetation in the Mid-Holocene was land-cover dynamics is key to understanding the human role in the Earth system. Recent advances in palaeoenvironmental allow us to assess the long-term impacts of anthropization on ecosystems landscapes and land-cover. Our throughout the second half of the Holocene. Population estimates correlate with HPI and agree with previously High HPI values in the Mid-Holocene suggest significant impact of early agricultural and pre-agricultural impact on European land-cover of second half of the Holocene

  6. Combining spatial dependence occupancy models and conservation gap analyses to promote species conservation: A case study with a threatened semi-aquatic mammal

forest cover and flow variability influence the overall high faeces detection. We then assessed the efficiency network of the French Pyrenees. We found that occupancy is mainly influenced by climatic and hydrographic probabilities and binary predictions . Using complementary indices and permutation tests we found that about protected by PA are highly suitable for G. pyrenaicus and less than 5.5 of the most suitable sections benefit an innovative and integrative approach that opens future perspectives for development and additional applications Combining spatial dependence occupancy models and conservation gap analyses to promote species conservation:

  8. Anthropocene tipping point reverses long-term Holocene cooling of the Mediterranean Sea: A meta-analysis of the basin’s Sea Surface Temperature records

records for the last 11 750 years to evaluate millennial-to-centennial-scale climate variability and to contextualize present and future changes. The Holocene thermal maximum is reconstructed 9400 3000 years ago and is estimated average of 0.47 0.2 C warmer than the mean for 1900 1960 followed by the onset of long-term cooling beginning 3000 years BP. The coolest temperatures during the last ten millennia are recorded during the Little Ice industrial-era warming into the perspective of natural climatic variability. Here we present a new Mediterranean long-term Holocene cooling of the Mediterranean Sea: A meta-analysis of the basin’s Sea Surface Temperature
