  3. Historical and Paleolimnological Reconstruction of Degassing Maar Lakes: The Case of Lake Pavin (Auvergne, France), for the Last Two Thousand Years - A Comprehensive Study of Volcanic Phenomena

Monoun 1984 and Nyos 1986 in Cameroon allow to propose a grid of degassing descriptors on lake and waters neurologic diseases similar to those observed at Albano and Nyos. Their spontaneous healings have been reported lake with sudden storms with thunder and lightnings is feared and avoided by the local population. When geomorphology and geochemistry revealing sub-lacustrine slides higher lake levels overflows events and its deep waters changes on atmospheric disorders and on impacts on populations. Pavin Lake degassing history has then the Nyos Lake catastrophe in 1986, but historical events have been documented in several European lakes environmental research, reveals past degassing events and confirms that Lake Pavin remains a potential hazard hazard, providing a model for assessing risks in other maar lakes worldwide. 4. Combining spatial dependence occupancy models and conservation gap analyses to promote species conservation: A case study with a threatened semi-aquatic mammal

probabilities and binary predictions . Using complementary indices and permutation tests we found that about 25 the French Pyrenees. We found that occupancy is mainly influenced by climatic and hydrographic factors Rainfall forest cover and flow variability influence the overall high faeces detection. We then assessed the stream sections protected by PA are highly suitable for G. pyrenaicus and less than 5.5 of the most suitable an innovative and integrative approach that opens future perspectives for development and additional applications Combining spatial dependence occupancy models and conservation gap analyses to promote species conservation:

  6. Performance of the REVEALS model to reconstruct present mountain vegetation cover in the North-Western Alps: A model evaluation for past land cover reconstruction

aims to reconstruct vegetation at a regional scale. For this purpose we are comparing raw pollen data untransformed been significantly shaped by both climate and land use changes. In order to better understand the present of Holocene vegetation dynamics in the French Alps quantitative and spatially detailed pollen-based estimates corrects for inter-taxonomic differences in pollen production dispersal and deposition mechanisms have been developed land cover reconstructions mainly in lowlands. Applying these models in mountainous areas requires careful reconstruction in the Northwestern Alps, demonstrating its significant improvement in regional vegetation despite challenges related to insect pollination and the complexity of mountain topography to reconstruct present mountain vegetation cover in the North-Western Alps: A model evaluation for past

shifts in emissions and burial due to changes in land cover and climate. But the development and evaluation to land use and climate changes. Both the burial of C in lakes and the emissions of GHGs are crucial components observations in sufficient quality. In this project we bring together a unique consortium of specialists in aquatic waters are biogeochemical reactors producing and receiving carbon C fixed by the terrestrial and aquatic alterations in land cover indicated by pollen records soil carbon erosion and shifts in lake productivity waters lakes and reservoirs C stocks and fluxes exports from watersheds soil erosion and C-exports biological biological processes CO2-CH4 emissions C accumulation in sediments model-data integration land-surface models to global scale assessment of lentic waters’ role in the climate system

caused by others and control potential - factors that are well documented for their role in eliciting anger over the driving activity human error is back in the loop. In the context of improving the safety of motorized 10.1016 j.trf.2024.03.014 Motor vehicle accidents in part due to human error continue to cause significant transportation this study examines the role of anger in the willingness to take over the driving activity participants were instructed to catch an emergency train we manipulated combinations of four factors selected the willingness to take over the driving activity in a highly automated vehicle: A scenario-based study
