  2. The Fields of Interdisciplinarity

provides an empirical account of the problem of interdisciplinarity in the field sciences considering it account for the mechanisms involved when researchers seek to do interdisciplinary science in the field we practices that take advantage of the spatial order of the study site in order to make forests temporal tend to transform both the object of study and the disciplines involved. The field as both an object interdisciplinary research project in environmental science. Its objective is to trace the long-term histories of The Fields of Interdisciplinarity

  3. Vulnerability assessment of natural heritage in the North-Eastern Ecuadorian Amazon using land use cover and nature protection status

evaluates the vulnerability of natural heritage in the Northeast Ecuadorian Amazon NEA from the perspective vascular plants in neotropical regions and multi-taxa in tropical forests worldwide validating the BVI. Furthermore were established i the ecological integrity vulnerability index EIVI indicating the potential loss of protection status 2018 ii the biological diversity vulnerability index BVI deriving the potential loss of biological of unprotected primary forest. Overall 42 of the NEA have a high degree of congruence between potential Vulnerability assessment of natural heritage in the North-Eastern Ecuadorian Amazon using land use cover

  4. Higher abundance of disturbance-favoured trees and shrubs in European temperate woodlands prior to the late-quaternary extinction of megafauna

woody habitats. The herbivores alive today in Europe are only a small remnant of the large species that during the last 50 000 years and the loss of megaherbivores body weight 1000 kg from most of the continent woodlands in the Last Interglacial exhibited higher cover of Corylus and Taxus relative to the Holocene differences in disturbance regimes between the Last Interglacial and early mid-Holocene with the loss of that existed in high diversity and abundance before modern humans. The extinction of so many large herbivores disturbance-favoured trees and shrubs in European temperate woodlands prior to the late-quaternary extinction of

  5. Holocene glacier evolution in the Pyrenees based on 36Cl cosmic-ray exposure dating (Troumouse Cirque, Pyrenees National Park)

site in the Pyrenees or in the Alps elsewhere in Europe. We tentatively link this moraine to the 8.2 ka constituting the most robust directly dated Holocene glacier chronology in the Pyrenees. The moraine age of 7 is much less constrained except for the Little Ice Age period. In this study we attempt to bridge this knowledge gap by dating four moraines in the Western-Central Pyrenees using in situ chlorine-36 cosmic-ray exposure how they translate into peat bog deposits in the vicinity of the moraines. Finally based on archeological Holocene glacier evolution in the Pyrenees based on 36Cl cosmic-ray exposure dating (Troumouse Cirque

  6. Evaluating the Impact of Time-to-Collision Constraint and Head Gaze on Usability for Robot Navigation in a Corridor

comparing the nature of the pedestrian human or a robot. Based on the results of this experiment and the literature crossing a human in a narrow corridor both modifying the robot trajectory and glancing at the human is necessary human in a corridor. It should be conveyed both by altering the trajectory and by showing the robot awareness awareness of the human presence through the robot head motion. Small changes in robot trajectory and m should behave when crossing a human in a narrow corridor in order to increase its usability. Experiments 1 2 and the semantic characteristics that is the composition nature and content of the information players have to perform within the game. The performance of more experienced players was particularly affected affected in this case. In contrast the results did not show that altering physical or semantic characteristics displays HUDs can impact the performance and subjective experience of players in action video games. HUDs information. However very few studies have empirically investigated the influence of HUD design on player Head-up displays in action video games: the effects of physical and semantic characteristics on player
