  7. Thinking coexistence in human-dominated landscapes with the lens of multi-species assemblages: Farmers, brown bears and other wild species in the Pyrenees

    Over the last decades the coexistence between humans and large carnivores has become a major issue for of one other species only and fail to consider the multispecies assemblage in which they interact. In places we analyse the coexistence between brown bears Ursus arctos and pastoralists in the Pyrenees with capacity of non-humans to shape the world through the relational networks in which they are involved.   8. Historical and Paleolimnological Reconstruction of Degassing Maar Lakes: The Case of Lake Pavin (Auvergne, France), for the Last Two Thousand Years - A Comprehensive Study of Volcanic Phenomena

Historical vapors and thick clouds 1550 1750 associated with reported sudden neurologic diseases similar to those observed at Albano and Nyos.
