eduroam worldwide wireless mobility


eduroam (education roaming) is the secure, world-wide roaming access service developed for the international research and education community.

eduroam allows students, researchers and staff from participating institutions to obtain Internet connectivity across campus and when visiting other participating institutions by simply opening their laptop.

The eduroam wireless network on the campus uses the following settings :

  • WPA2/AES encryption
  • PEAP/MSchapv2 authentication

  • You can check out the real-time status of the eduroam service on its french or international websites.
     
  • When setting up your computer for eduroam, don't forget to use your fully qualified username, including the domain of your institution (e.g username@univ-tlse2.fr).
